Reflections

You don’t have to a big royalist to know that it’s a historic day. I wasn’t sure whether to post something in place of the usual vlog, but here are my three thoughts from the middle of the night:

🤯 If I am lucky enough to live to 96 like her, I am now exactly half way through my life. WOW. <remember to check pension>

👦 She was able to achieve such amazing things, partly because she had great childcare. Let’s never forget that as we hear all the praise for her commitment and dedication.

🌤 Stoicism may be unfashionable, but as we head into a dark and chilly winter, we’ll need to hold tightly onto a worldview that better days will return.

As Paddington Bear had it , ‘Thank you Ma’am, for everything.’
