Where are the grown ups? (not in the office)

Greetings from stunning Venice!

A year ago I was hearing a lot of “our team are grown ups, we let them choose when they come into the office based on what needs to be done”

This year, bosses are whistling a different tune as the ‘grown ups’ aren’t turning up in the office often enough for their liking. “I am SICK of seeing their home offices”.

I’m constantly hearing the same questions:

“Er Christine, it’s a ghost town and it’s getting worse, we have to agree a minimum number of days in…

🤷‍♀️ how do we do that?

👮 how do we enforce it?

🏆 who is getting this right?”
